SYDIC Heritage Project through Winter 2025

SYDIC members attended Cardiff Museum on February 25th, 2025, as part of the Heritage project to learn about the Miners Strike. Audio recordings took place on February 26th, where young people explored the sense of community in Aber Valley through the decades. The interview will be uploaded to SYDIC’s Peoples Collection Wales page. As part of St David’s Day celebrations, young people recently made Bara Brith in the SYDIC kitchen, and SYDIC will host a Welsh-themed quiz and karaoke night in early March.
